Собственно, Кубин сейчас привлек опусом, который будет в самом конце. Ну, потому, что там не ютуб, а запись трансляции венского радио. Соответственно, все до этого собрано от некоторого недоумения по поводу того, как же ж это он так все теперь выкрути. Ну, тут еще и моя склонность к Вене, в данном случае — к варианте венского радио oe1.orf.at. Кубина, понятно, я раньше знал, но, с учетом новых обстоятельств, уже интересно пересмотреть. Собственно, кого ж не удивит определенная прихотливость его продвижения вдоль данной публикации от начала до последней истории. И все ведь совершенно логично.

Felix Kubin (born Felix Knoth, 1969 in Hamburg, West Germany) is an electronic musician. He has been involved with music since he was 8 years old, when he studied piano, organ and glockenspiel. His youthful experiments really took off in 1980 when he got a Korg MS-20 synthesizer. His early works have been released under the title The Tetchy Teenage Tapes of Felix Kubin. During this time he also played in a punk band Die Egozentrischen 2. In 1987 Felix Kubin co-founded an experimental noise group Klangkrieg with Tim Buhre. His first solo album Filmmusik was released in 1998 by Gagarin Records, Kubin’s own label founded in the same year through which he has gone on to release a series of albums including the critically acclaimed Matki Wandalki in 2004. Kubin regularly collaborates on theatrical and animation productions, writes radio plays and is a self-described dadaist. His musical influences include contemporary classics such as Karlheinz Stockhausen and György Ligeti, as well as groups such as Kraftwerk and DAF.

Felix Kubin is sometimes known as the Whirlwind Wizard of the Ivories. Here the Wirbelwind’s distaste for the narcissism of pop reaches hilarious heights in his cover of Lionel Richie’s «Hello», which he turns into an autistic parody of one of the most horrible songs ever written. Die BR-Hörspielproduktion «Orphée Mécanique» von Felix Kubin ist in der Kategorie «Bestes Hörspiel» mit dem «Deutschen Hörbuchpreis des Jahres 2014» ausgezeichnet worden. Nach der Kür zum «Hörspiel des Jahres 2012», der Nominierung beim «Prix Italia 2013» und der Ehrung mit dem spanischen «Premio Ondas Award 2013» ist dies eine weitere Auszeichnung für das Hörspiel, das am 30. März 2012 auf Bayern 2 urgesendet wurde (Dramaturgie: Katarina Agathos).
